These scientific illustrations was a collaboration with researcher Mónica Sousa and Ana Sousa Costa from i3S institute, University of Porto, for a review paper that was published in 2022 (doi: 10.3389/fcell.2022.934522) and presented in international scientific meetings.

These illustrations represents molecular neuronal mechanism and demonstrate how to communicate complex ideas and draw attention to details in an interesting and informative way.
